I still remember

There are days when I see an image or an item, and my mind is immediately immersed in a quagmire of thought.

Today, I saw an image with words that began, “I still remember a woman who was kind to me…”

And just like that, my thoughts wandered to Sandy.

The image surely had a model sitting for it, and her name would be Sandy. Sandy was kind to me on several occasions, and she was always kind to others. The sort of person whose kindness stays with you, sometimes without your even realizing how much you remember.

I wonder if she knows that I thought kind thoughts of her today.

I bet she does.
