Make Room for Healing

Make Room for Healing
I gently release
all I no longer choose to carry,
the words left unsaid,
the ache of old wounds,
and all that was never mine to hold.
Like leaves surrendering
to the quiet pull of autumn,
I release what has passed,
honouring what it taught me,
and making space
for what comes next.
I breathe in softness.
I breathe out yesterday.
There is no need
to rush my healing.
I can rest here,
in this gentle space,
where something tender
is beginning to grow.
May I make peace
with what I could not change,
release what was never mine,
and trust the empty spaces
to become places of light.
I gently release.
I breathe
I soften.
I trust.
I make room for healing.
