Angel Moments

And here I am thinking since early this morning about the moments we become Angels.

Not the time we pass over, or die, or walk into the light.

I am thinking the moments we actually are Angels.

And these moments don’t last long, sometimes they are just fleeting seconds.

It could happen once in your lifetime, or very often.

Yet you live in someone’s memory forever as an Angel.

And I hear you say: “Really Luzette? What did you have before breakfast?”

Aaahh.. let me explain..

Many, or sometimes you walk through a shop and without knowing why, you look up, see another person and without any reason you give them a huge smile.

They could be in the midst of a life-changing decision and asked for a sign. For a moment there you were another person’s Angel.

Or you stop at a traffic light and a beggar that you see every day suddenly hurts your heart.

Not many people give to beggars at traffic lights because of their own convictions, yet one day it hurts you to see this and your heart pains so much that you open your purse and give. You could be the last resort between a bit of food and starvation.

Or a name from your past pops into your mind and you send a text asking how they are doing.

This person could have just lost a loved one, be all alone and praying for someone, anyone, to make contact just so he/she knows that there are people who remember them.

Or you pack your child/partner’s lunch and add a note saying: “I believe in you, I love you..”

Things are challenging at work or school during ths time. Your child may be facing a test/exam, your partner might be facing retrenchment. And all they needed was someone, just one person to believe in them.

There are many, many opportunities to be an Angel to someone. Grab them. Work them.

Someone, somewhere needs to meet an Angel, even an Earth Angel.

And that might just be your turn to become an Angel for a few moments..
